Map for Posterity No. 2 — Bentonville

These vases have interpreted road maps of Bentonville and Fayetteville freehanded onto them. Both pottery and topography are important records of human civilization, and this series captures my personal record left for posterity. Fayetteville is the place where I spent my childhood; it still holds a deep sense of mystery and magic for me. Bentonville is the place where I grew from a child into an adult, and it has become the place I have put down deep roots.
